Carl Schaerf: Partner

Carl was born in Queens, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College in 1988 and his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 1991, where he was a Staff Member of the Law Review.

He is admitted to all the Courts of the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as all Federal Courts, and Circuit Courts. He serves as regional counsel in product liability for a major electrical manufacturer, and provides antitrust and ERISA guidance to major retailers, distributors and insurers. He has extensive trial and appellate experience, generally in defense of catastrophic litigation, including retail, trucking and transportation, product liability and otherwise.

He is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, a peer reviewed group, and served for many years on the New York County bar bench forum.

As an attorney, he is AV+ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected for many years as a New York Metro Super Lawyer in the defense of product liability.
