Family Court Matters

Family Courts in New York State specifically hear and determine matters that may arise within familial relationships. These matters include Orders of Protection, Child Support, Spousal Maintenance, Custody, and Visitation. Our firm can assist in obtaining these initial Court Orders on your behalf to insure your rights are protected. We can also assist in the modification or enforcement of prior orders if your circumstances have changed or a violation of a prior order has occurred. If you are divorced, you may choose to appear in Family Court to modify or enforce prior divorce judgments as opposed to appearing in Supreme Court.
